By examining and admiring his canvases we could get to know and discover his personality, but we could also think and a new school had been born, since he in fact offers us a completely new view of the world through his paintings.
Let your eyes penetrate his universe to the infinite. Discover surprising forms and perspectives that seem to have no limits. Admire his subtle, delicate, and amazing graphism that vibrates like waves and transports us beyond horizons where his chromatic palette plays with forms to create a special atomosphere every time.
With Patrice Foucher d'Hubert nature is liberated, forms are born, and we enter freely in the world he explores and live in the real and the imaginary at the same time. Enter his paintings and it is like dreaming with your eyes open.
His virtuosity is greatly marked, probably inherited from a brilliant grandparent, also an artist, creator of the Pegasus that illuminate with gold the Paris Opera, the same author of the Dancing Fauna of the Luxembourg Gardens, and creator of the well-known Notre Dame of the Garde de Marseille, universally known.
But in his genes he carries these prestigeous traces, and his own artistic training has been excellent, such is so that he spent several years in the Camondo school and previously in the Met workshoop, in Penninghem. We might also add that he has exercised his talents in prestigeous locations such as the Palace of the King Fahd of Saudi Arabia.
Patrice Foucher d'Hubert expresses what he feels, what he perceives from our world with new aspects. His compositions are far from being commonplace and offer not doubt: they belong to a school where modernism does not give in to classicism while the whole merges for our great pleasure.
